Tours - China IT'S ON AGAIN -- EYE-OPENING YUNNAN TOUR 2004 Following our successful experience in the Yunnan Tour 2003, we are offering a similar tour again: Slide Show of our last trip. Tour to China from Australia
Yunnan Province of southern China has a unique environmental beauty with 26 of the 56 ethnic groups living within the boundaries of the province. The tour has been designed to visit the most visually appreciated regions and experience the cultures of some of these ethnic groups in this province. The ethnic groups visited on our tour include the Yi in Kunming, the Bai in Dali, the Naxi in Lijiang and the Dai in Xishuangbanna. Xishuangbanna has been the sole residence for 15 ethnic groups in China. Kunming, the capital city of Yunnan province, is a modern city, unrivalled in China with a comfortable seasonal temperature all year, and has a small population by China’s standards of 3 million with boulevard like roadways.
